What are the different USB and network interfaces for?

USB

 

Use the existing USB interfaces to provide media for a Firmware Update.

 

 

 

Network

 

Any network interfaces not in use are covered by a cap. Use the free interface to connect the SMS Gateway with a network.

 

What do the different colours of the caps mean?

 

red

Use this interface for High availability.

 

yellow

Only SMS Gateway Rack Edition

Use this interface for access to the IPMI (interface for Platform Management).

 

black

This interface is not used.
